Also, while you're bringing up LEVY...have you had some sort of memory lapse with the transfer mayhem last season with WBA and their chairman?

And all the Levy Out, RIP Tottenham hysterics when they didn't get him?

In fact there isn't any of the post that's on the ball. Total bollox.

Sort of clarification on Carroll.

Also Reid seems to have something little and Henry has done himself again.

"Andy Carroll trained fully this week, but he did not play on Tuesday night. This is Andy’s first pre-season in several years. We are trying to find the correct balance between training and recovery.

Andy has an individual programme where he does 90 per cent of the pre-season and sometimes has an extra day’s rest or works in the gym."

one of the Dave's quoted as saying we might not need or be able to sign a striker.

i hope this is his shitty attempt at keeping his cards close to his chest.
otherwise he needs his head testing.

Seriously, only at West Ham do we have 1 semi fit striker at a key time of pre season.

I just wish we did our business out of the public eye just like Levy does

Exclusive: Carroll denies injury rumours
Pinched from KUMB

Filed: Tuesday, 19th July 2016

Andy Carroll has told fans he is raring to go - despite reports suggesting that he could be sidelined for a matter of weeks.

Carroll, who is in Austria with Slaven Bilic and the rest of the first team squad preparing for this afternoon's pre-season friendly with FC Slovacko told KUMB's Matej Mutis that rumours suggesting he is unable to play were wide of the mark.

"I talked to AC for a few minutes before the training and he said he isn't injured," Bratislava-based Mutis told KUMB. "After that, he took part in full training with the squad.

The only player doing individual [fitness] work was Winston Reid. However he also said that he isn't injured, but it was more like a precaution."

Is he injured?
Was reading an interview him earlier saying he was raring to go but he will sit out a few pre reason games so he is fit for the start of the season

Well either he means they will be holding him out of games for two weeks or Jack does not know what he is talking about or the club have done an amazing job of video editing him into the Austrian training.

There is another from Jack after that also says "it's nothing serious."

Bit of an odd story to put out on the official website ("AC raring to go") if he's injured for a couple of weeks, isn't it?

Re: Striker options - Carroll injured
There was an article posted on the official site yesterday saying how he's fit and raring to go. No mention of any injury! (Unless it's happened since that was posted)

Didn't young Jack confirm he'd be out for two weeks yesterday?

I thought the same thing- funny how not one other news outlet picked up on it.

They are normally all over it if Carroll gets injured.

didn't the story of Carroll's injury come from the oracle Claret&Hugh? If so it surely it must be true!
